Let the CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN Begin!

Hi Reader!

The most wonderful time of the year...

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love Christmas music (Mariah Carey is warming up as we speak!), Christmas movies, and Christmas cheer!

I've already got a list of Hallmark Christmas movies I'll be watching (*ahem* re-watching). And the first one is An Unexpected Christmas.

One Good Thing

It's the season of giving so let's do our best to be our best. I'll be giving you a few suggestions on things you can do to make this month better for everyone. Please only do what feels right for you.

First good thing? Smile!

Let's start with breakfast

There's always so much going on this season that it's hard to stay on top of things. Hopefully, this will help you cross "What to have for breakfast on Christmas morning?" off your list.

Gingerbread Pancakes

Let's go super seasonal this year with Gingerbread Pancakes.

They're just as easy as regular pancakes, but are filled with that lovely gingerbread flavor!

Candy Cane Pancakes

Want to go with another uniquely festive option? How's about Candy Cane Pancakes?

This recipe makes pancakes with candy cane bits inside the batter as well as a whipped cream topping.

Baked Strawberry French Toast

It's a busy time of year where it's difficult to balance spending time with the ones you love most, and getting everything ready to celebrate the holidays.

This make-ahead French toast is perfect to prepare in advance! (It tastes good too.)

SOMETHING SWEET FOR SOMEONE SWEET

Strawberry Shortcake Mug Cake

This is one of my favourite recipes to quickly make on a weekend afternoon - it's tasty and takes less than 10 minutes!

I’ve actually popped it out of the mug, and served it to guests who weren’t able to tell that it wasn’t bought from a bakery!
