Hi Reader!

Well, look who finally remembered to put the kettle on. ☕

It's been a while since our last Coffee Date. If you're new here, welcome! I'm Riz, and this is our monthly catch-up: a little food, a little life, and something delicious to try.

What I've been up to

Lately I've been giving some older favourites a proper tune-up. I recently refreshed my Egyptian Macarona Bechamel with clearer steps and process photos for that creamy béchamel topping. Pasta, savoury beef, and cheese: essentially a hug in a baking dish.

I also revisited my Japanese Pancakes with some process photos and hopefully (!) some clearer tips to help you make those wonderfully light, airy soufflé pancakes at home!

If we haven't met yet, I write Chocolates & Chai from Toronto. I love comfort food from around the world, over-the-top brunches, and desserts worth making room for.
